Matthijs is originally from the Netherlands and has learned Paragliding in New Zealand while working as a raftguide. Currently he works as a fulltime tandem pilot in Switzerland. He did his first competition in 2020 and has been hooked ever since. 2024 was his breakthrough year winning tasks and a competition.

I would like to race in a good team of friends and try to show that the GTO3 belongs in the top ranks of the SRS series
