Dora Göksal discovered paragliding during his university years and has been passionate about flying ever since. He owns a paragliding school in Turkey, offering SIV clinics and XC guiding. A national team pilot with records and podiums, Dora is also an APPI master instructor, author of a paragliding book, and experienced meet director. He currently lives in Korea, working as a test pilot for Gin Gliders.

Do you have any hobbies besides paragliding?:
Hiking, running, and making music

When and what inspired you to start paragliding?:
I’ve been an aviation geek since childhood. When I was a student, paragliding was the most accessible way for me to fly. I took my beginner course and was hooked immediately.

As with any passion, just do it for the sake of doing it, not to prove anything to anyone, including yourself.
