X-Pyr pilots begin flying the new Puma 2
Several Gin pilots preparing for the 2026 X-Pyr have now received their new Puma 2 wings. Just days after taking delivery, Guilhem Mobe claimed second place in a local hike & fly competition in France.
Designed as our latest EN-D hike & fly competition glider, the Puma 2 will be flown by several pilots during this year’s edition of the X-Pyr. With the event approaching, pilots are now starting to build valuable flying hours and familiarity with their equipment.
French pilot Guilhem Mobe recently received his Puma 2 and immediately put it to use in competition. On 30 May, he flew the wing in a local hike & fly event in France, finishing in second place.
While the race was primarily an opportunity to gain experience with the new glider, the result provided an encouraging start to the season and another step in the build-up towards the X-Pyr.
