The Gin Team Secure Victory at SRS Bassano

The second Sport Racing Series event of the 2026 season took place in Bassano, Italy, from May 23rd to 30th. The competition attracted a strong international field, with pilots from 33 countries racing across a variety of mountain and flatland tasks.

Throughout the week, the Gin pilots delivered consistent performances in challenging and varied conditions. Tom Hodgkin secured a task victory early in the competition, Marco Sommerfeld finished 3rd overall, and Riley Ferre led the women’s ranking during the opening stages of the event. Together with the rest of the team, their results contributed valuable points towards the overall team victory.

A particularly strong performance in Task 5 moved the Gin Team into the lead heading into the final day. After six days of racing, the team maintained its advantage to secure overall victory in the team classification.
