ANTONIO RAMOS WON AT THE 2025 PYRENEES OPEN FLYING THE PUMA

Over the weekend of 2–4 May 2025, the Pyrenees Open FAI 2 took place in Panticosa. Antonio Ramos secured first place, flying the Gin Puma, our lightweight competition paraglider.
The race covered a 69 km straight-line course marked by multiple turn points, which pilots could reach either by flying or hiking.
On the first day, rainy and windy weather forced most competitors to hike much of the route. Antonio was one of the two participants to complete two flights that day, allowing him to gain several positions and place within the top five by the day’s end.

With better weather on the second day, the first pilots took off early and landed near Biescas. By opting for an alternative route, Antonio gained enough time to secure the overall lead and finish first.
Overall results:
Congratulations to Antonio Ramos and his assistant, Sonia Alandes, on their excellent performance, which led them to victory.
