The Gingo 4 continues to deliver what pilots already trust, outstanding comfort, high stability, and precise handling in all conditions. The harness itself remains unchanged. Its proven geometry, seatboard design and in-flight behaviour are exactly the same.
What’s new is the protection system. Pilots can now choose between two 16 cm back protection options:
· Aerobean protector
· A new inflatable protector
The inflatable protector offers a significantly reduced packed volume, making transport and storage easier without compromising safety. The Gingo 4 can be ordered with either option. The choice is yours.

2026 UPDATE
The new inflatable protector brings a new level of versatility to the Gingo 4.
With a full 16 cm thickness once inflated, it delivers certified impact protection: 34 G
Its key advantage is packability. When deflated, the protector takes up significantly less space than a traditional solution, ideal for travel, hike & fly, or compact storage.
A dedicated valve system allows pilots to adjust the internal pressure, fine-tuning firmness and behaviour even during flight.
For added convenience, an optional pump bag is available, enabling fast and effortless inflation before take-off.
Aerobean protector: PROVEN PERFORMANCE
The Aerobean protector remains a trusted benchmark for everyday flying. Lightweight, durable and reliable, it offers consistent protection across a wide range of realworld scenarios with no setup required.
With a 16 cm thickness, it delivers certified impact protection: 30.26 G
Its self-inflating structure ensures immediate readiness, making it a simple and dependable choice for pilots who prioritise ease of use.
Improved geometry
The Gingo 4 features an updated geometry which enables sweet and precise turning. Information from the air is filtered in a highly intelligible manner. In conjunction with the wing, stability in turbulence is improved.
The latest generation of GIN’s proven ABS system offers greater stability both in rough air and also after collapses. The ABS system is optimised for today’s glider designs and features an anti-forget buckle system.
