The hook case is a radio/transceiver case, suited to most 2m radios/transceivers, with an integrated high quality hook knife/webbing cutter and retainer strap.
Description
Designed to fit to your harness shoulder strap, the Gin Hook Case has plastic figure-of-eight clips stitched into the back which have slits in them to slide your harness shoulder straps through. Your radio is secured with a hook-and-loop retainer strap, as is the hook knife.
Hook knife
In emergency situations, the integrated hook knife is capable of decisively cutting lines and webbing from the wing, as well as safety straps and harness or seat restraints.
It is an essential part of the personal flight kit for both paraglider and paramotor pilots, as you never know when you might need it—whether to free yourself from tangles or twists during an emergency descent under reserve parachute, after landing in a tree, or in water.
