STRATUS Slide Autolock

The stainless-steel version of the STRATUS carabiner for 25 mm paragliding harnesses provides a maximum of reliability. It is equipped with the special Slide Autolock gate and the so-called Keeper to prevent the carrying strap from slipping out of its position. Due to its very high breaking strength, it is the ideal partner for Acro pilots ensuring a maximum of safety when it comes to a maximum load during Maneuver flights and other extreme situations.

The maximum service life is reached after 1500 flight hours or 5 years from first use.

Description

The carabiner’s gate has been designed to minimize gate play when closed. This minimizes the negative effects of constant vibration stress on the carabiner. The Slide Autolock allows for reliable locking without lock manipulation, yet it can be opened easily by just pressing the slider.

Due to the higher breaking strength of stainless-steel carabiners compared to aluminum carabiners, AUSTRIALPIN generally recommends using only stainless-steel carabiners for tandem flights. The corresponding marking on the carabiner is the abbreviation “mono+bi”
