Adrian Thomas

Professor Adrian Thomas runs the Animal Flight research group at the University of Oxford, and his expertise in aerodynamics contributes to Gin Gliders' development of optimal designs for particular aspects of performance. As an accomplished World Cup pilot, Adrian enjoys adrenaline-fuelled high speed racing, but also the more aesthetic side of flying—soaring 6 inches off the ground, climbing with vultures or flying up the sides of clouds.

Resides: Oxford, UK with wife Sue and daughter Lauren
