Since I remember I was always dreaming about flying. Nearby my grandparent's summer house, where I used to spend my summer holidays, there was a small airport where gliders were taking off and flying above our heads almost everyday. I can say, I was growing up with flying in my mind. First I have heard about paragliding in 1999 when I was 16 and the following year I went for the training. The course was conducted by towing in the flat lands near Warsaw (Poland) where I am living and since then I began to realize my dreams.

Six months later after completing beginners course my mother bought me my first glider and I attended a thermal course in Bassano del Grappa. Since then I spend most of my summer holidays at the airport near my grandparent’s house, flying cross country in the flatlands. The very same year friends pushed me to compete and in September I went with them to Italy for Polish Cup Monte Grappa. During that competition I realized how fast I could learn to fly taking part in competitions, also how different is flying xc in the mountains. I enjoined competing so much that I decided to fly competition again. For next 2 seasons I was concentrating on improving my skills and getting more air-hours in mountain terrain - I decided to fly as much as possible in the Alps. I came back to competitions in the 2003 making my first podium in the Loop Cup. I became even more addicted with competition flying and since then I have been flying as many comps as it was possible.

In the 2005 I had the chance to fly my first Gin glider and was selected for the World Cup. This experience pushed my flying skills higher and I still hope to learn more - with every competition I am taking part in. Year 2005 was very lucky for me - I also won selection for the Polish National Team and since then I am representing my country.

Thanks to my family and my sponsors- their support and friendship I could continue to keep my dream alive, improve my skills and push my performance further. Thank you so much.

Beside flying I am also working as a journalist and during the winter as a Ski and Snowboard Instructor in the Alps.
