2016 Paragliding World Cup - La Réunion - Task 4

GIN team consolidates the lead, Andre Rainsford reports...

"A grinding day. After two diabolically difficult tasks fighting into a southerly breeze, another task to the south was set over 53 km with a out-and-return back to the Kelonia landing field on the beach below launch. The two Michaels did what was required to get Gin Gliders into first and third positions with Andre a few minutes behind in the top ten. Only seventeen pilots made goal in a task that scored full points, consolidating the Gin Gliders position. We are top of the team rankings. Meryl is lying second in the women's race. We have two pilots in podium positions in the overall standings with a total of four GIN pilots in the top ten.

Michael Sigel and Michael Kuffer are on fire as we enter the last three days. We are uncertain of the forecast tomorrow as it may rain, but we remain optimistic."
