Francois Bonis a part of the Gin Gliders staff as test pilot for Paragliding and Speed Flying, but also Team pilot for Acro and Speed Flying.

Francois is 34 years old and started to fly in Bourg St Maurice (French Alps) 22 years ago, where he is still living nowadays.

Member of the paragliding national French team at the beginning of the 90’s, he was at this time Paragliding instructor. Then he became one of the best acro pilot (5th in Vertigo 2000, 1rst in AcroAndes 2004) and very active as FAI senior judge on the Acro Tour.

Francois has a very good experience in manufacturing paragliders as test pilot during several in one of the main brand.

Francois is a cool, calm but dynamic guy in life, always busy running everywhere. Except Paraglding and Speed Flying, or when he is not jumping from a balloon, a bridge, a lift or an helicopter with a paraglider, Francois likes Freeride ski, Hang Gliding, Ski diving, base jumping… travelling and … his 2 cats!
