The Boomerang 5 X-Alps was specially created a few months before the race for the GIN Red Bull X-Alps pilots; Martin, Vincent and Ogi.

Based on Gin Seok Songs last ultimate competition paraglider, the Boomerang 5, the glider is a recalculated ultralight version. The leading edge has been redesigned to delete the Rigifoil Max, resulting in a significant weight saving.
Risers, lines, reinforcements, bands and diagonals… everything has been optimized to save weight and keep the best performance for the race.

The Boomerang 5 X-Alps utilises the lightest fabrics from Porcher Sport:
the new Skytex 27 but also 9017 E68A, used exclusively by Gin Gliders.
