4 months after the introduction of the Beetle to four of the biggest tandem organisations in Austria and Germany.

The professionals have commented like below...

Reiner Kistl owner of a tandem organisation with 12 pilots in Tirol, Austria:
The Beetle by Gin Gliders is the ideal tandem glider in my opinion. As well for pilots who just fly for fun and don't have a lot of tandem experience, as well as for professionals. All of my pilots like to fly with it a lot. The Beetle is safe and easy and you have heaps of fun with it. For me, as a business man, economical aspects are important as well, if a tandem glider is dead after 500 flights or if it still takes off ok and flies safe even after 800 flights. The oldest one of my Beetle now has more than 500 flights and the porosity figures of the cloth and the line strength are still excellent. It takes off almost like on its first flight.

Simon Penz tandem professional, competition pilot and owner of a paragliding school in Vorarlberg, Austria:
The take-off characteristics of the Beetle are so good, that you have to watch out, that it doesn't fly away by itself when you have opened the glider. Line handling and sorting is excellent. The Beetle almost lands by itself as well and it is very easy to find the right moment when you have to flare it. Centering thermals with the Beetle is a piece of cake, it follows the core and does not fall out to the side. It has trimmers which is a good thing to have, especially when you fly with lightweight passengers. I was flying a DHV-2 tandem glider so far because I thought I needed to have enough performance for going cross country. Also in this respect, the Beetle has convinced me: it has plenty of performance and I have already made some nice XC-flights with it.

Paul Gröblacher, tandem professional and cross country pilot from Zillertal, Austria:
The Beetle by Gin Gliders is the perfect work-horse in my opinion, it couldn't be better. It takes off almost too easy, in flight the handling reminds me at a DHV 1-2 solo glider and landing is very easy as well. I also take the Beetle for my private cross country flights with my girl friend and we have a lot of fun with it.

The biggest tandem organisation in Switzerland (Interlaken) and France (Annecy) also have chosen the Beetle.
