Robert Blum wins German XC League on the GIN Boomerang 9

Congratualtions to Robert Blum on winning the overall German DHV XC league. Robert completed 3 big FAI triangles on his Boomerang 9. His most memorable flight was not the longest, as Robert reports:

"...the special flight I had been trying for the past 6 years has now finally worked with the Boomerang 9—a 225km triangle from the Nebelhorn and then landing in my garden at home in the evening! It was an exhausting flight of 10.5 hours on an unremarkable day without a very high cloudbase. I didn't imagine I would succeed, so I flew very aggressively from the first minute. From half way, I realized that the triangle could be on—and I was rewarded by a very difficult tactical flight in the evening!

He who does not try, does not succeed!"
